MUSEUM DONATING MEDICAL FACE MASKS TO THE COMMUNITY TO AID IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

As the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is rampant throughout the world, the USA has also entered an emergency state in the fight against the pandemic. A large sum of medical goods have been exhausted in this battle. Such adverse conditions have caused grave threat to the lives of the medical workers and staff on the front line and created a huge hole in the defense against the pandemic. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III Cultural and Art Museum is very concerned about the health and safety of the Covina community and the front-line workers and hopes to make some contributions at this difficult and dire time. On April 13 and 14, the museum donated 50,000 medical masks to Covina Police Department, the First-line workers of the City Government, and Emanate Health, in hope that these masks can provide safety guarantee to their health and hygiene, and to ensure the proper operation of the city. We support the local government’s effort in controlling the pandemic with practical action.

Guided by the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, our museum has always actively participated in the disaster reliefs and activities of aiding the poor in the US and the world. We have also held art exhibits with the themes of caring for the weak. In this pandemic, our museum once again extends its helping hand to the community and makes a contribution to the winning of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
